A Pure Heart

I think I am going to explore this concept. In life you have many chances to allow circumstances to "dirty up" your heart. I don't want a dirty heart. I want a clean one with no issues or rotten spots. I don't want to look at my heart and end up saying "how did that worm get in there", or like a banana that has over ripened find it kind of slimy.

Mathew 5:8
Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Thanks for your kind words.

I've been reading some great stuff lately about why we use the connotation of "dirtiness" with sin, and how we are such beings of sensation. I love how God has made us so that we can feel all that we do in a variety of ways, and express ourselves through many descriptions.
